Great food Friendly service At home like atmosphere ! Their chili is delicious and for a Coney Island have some pretty outstanding dinner items as well. The most upscale Coney Island I've ever been to!

I've ate here once before but with my family, not really paying attention to much, it was decent enough. Upon entering this time, I came in with my friend for lunch. I planned on doing my first review for this restaurant since I saw there wasn't to much on it on Yelp. After being seated and having our drink orders taken, 5 minutes later another waitress came to ask what we wanted to drink. We kindly told her our drink orders had been taken already, no biggie. After 5 minutes our drinks came around and we placed our dinner orders. My friend got the vanilla milkshake (which was $4 and smaller than my soft drink!) and I got an unsweetened tea delivered to me, though I ordered a sweet tea. I personally hate artificial sweetener's, part of the reason why I ordered a sweet tea. I didn't fuss and sweetened my tea. What blew me away was the first scoop out of my friend's milkshake had a hair in it! This personally would not go by for me, but my friend looked the other way and continued eating his milkshake without saying anything. Props to him, but I would've said something. I'm done writing this review as it isn't worth it anymore. bottom line: mediocre coney food with questionable service. will not be back

Great food and friendly service. We are addicted to their chili and LOVE their pita wraps. My only regret was not taking a pic of my food to share on yelp. SO GOOD! Next time I will since I plan on being a regular.

Seem to be stuck in a coney-island rut as of late ... oh well, I like this place. Clean, neat & orderly. Customer service has always been good for me (pleasant, courteous, attentive, et...) & they recently had a 1yr. anniversary Customer Appreciation event where they offered something like 20% off your bill all day long ... I felt the love, :). Food is good and on par with what you expect from this style of restaurant ... have sampled the coney's, club sandwich, steak & eggs and a few other miscellaneous items ... prices are fair, they didn't "wow" me, but I didn't feel like I was being gouged either. The cleanliness and friendly staff is why I give this place a fourth star and would rate it above your everyday, mom & pop coney stop. If you're in the neighborhood, give it a shot, :).

I seem to stop here on occasion and get breakfast or a quick dinner. I think the food is decent. Well run and clean. Seems just a bit pricey but not too much. I just wanted to give them credit on the Eggs Benedict I had over the weekend. They make variations of this classic dish and the Irish version was really good. Kinda surprised me that a Coney Island could hit the mark on Hollandaise sauce.

Yuck! Don't waste your time or money. Take a few more minutes and drive to National Coney Island on Harper & 8 Mile. The food here is not good and on my very first visit, I had to wait 10 minutes to place an order. That's not good service, no reason to return.

We have changed our regular breakfast place because their food is so good. Highly recommended.

Great looking place, clean, new, inviting. That's pretty much the good part of my review. My coffee was strong yet watery. I'm not even sure how you can do that but it happened. Husbands Pepsi was weird tasting as if the mix in the machine was not right. My Detroits Finest Omlette was so salty!! Holy cow!!! Made to order but sheesh pull back in the salt people. The meats were all way salty and the cheese. Ugh! Ok so this is going to sound weird....my hash browns tasted fishy! Don't ask me how that can happen. They were undercooked and tasted of fried fish. I asked my husband to taste them because I thought I was losing my mind. Weirrrddddd!!! His Omlette was covered in country gravy and he said it was good. Our toast was good but no jelly on the table. I think we'll go back for lunch and see if they step it up a notch. Not very impressed with their breakfast at all.

I don't know whats happened but the coney dogs are now bleeck. Firstly went last night about 430pm, ordered 2 with everything. The dogs themselves were not very good did not seem they were natural casing dogs, they had no snap whatsoever, then the chili. The chili was very very thick and has no spice to it now, I don't know if they changed their recipe or what but please change it back.

The service is great! The place is super clean. And the food is solid. It's a coney island - and it delivers on what I expect from a coney. We've never had any issues with our food - spot on each time. Love this as an alternative to heading out to National.

Tried some other menu items. I asked if the gyro meat was freshly carved, and was assured it was. Well, it's that frozen slices. I was very disappointed. Husband's fish and chips were meh and fishy tasting (saw the boxes outside the door that they came in- frozen battered pieces- hardly fresh). Stick with coney's only from now on.

Service ok. Food was only luke warm at best, fries were severely undercooked (almost white). Cashier asked how food was, and when I reluctantly answered not very good, became angry, did not want to hear about it. Should of checked reviews first, only good ones are here on Yelp, all when they first opened. Waitstaff and cooks were lounging in the dining room watching tv, might explain why they wanted to get the food out before it was done - so they could get back to TV! I'll upload a photo if Yelp allows it....

Nice setting, great renovation and service. Can definitely compete with the best coney islands in metro Detroit. Three people and the bill was 13.72. Coneys and sliders are delicious. French fries are hot and fresh. We will be back, loved it.

We eat here a lot. Its clean, the food is good and the atmousphere and fellow patrons is better than any other coney you will go to.

Stopped in a couple weeks ago. My daughter and I ate in. Breakfast was what one should expect from a coney island. I carried out for my husband. What I feared they would is exactly what they did. The Greek omelet was wimpy. They skimped on the meat, the potatoes were greasy. The toast was buttered when asked for dry. Should not claim to be Detroit's finest.

Only went once was not impressed. Waitress just stood by my table. I decided to order another coney because I was hungry and got two separate comments from waitresses telling me that we are hungry today! Yes I was hungry, would not have gone there to eat had I not been. Low class employees.
